  21. INTRODUCTION

  23. Floatris is a fun and challenging game of skill. Starting out with the basic
  24. elements of many existing falling block style games, Floatris was developed
  25. with the addition of many unique features. The shapes in Floatris rise from 
  26. the bottom of the screen to the top in eight air shafts. Your mission, should 
  27. you choose to accept it, is to manage the shapes as they float up the shafts 
  28. at random. As you pass the end of the first level, you will notice that more
  29. than one shape can be floating in any given shaft simultaneously. In fact
  30. as the game progresses, you will find that all eight shafts can have a shape 
  31. active at the same time. To make things even more of a challenge, Two new 
  32. shapes are introduced at the beginning of each level of the game (registered 
  33. version only). Another exciting feature of Floatris called "shape morphing"
  34. is the ability to transform shapes during game play (registered version only). 
  35. This can take up valuable time however, as there will be other shapes in play 
  36. that need your attention. Other enhancements to the registered version of 
  37. Floatris include; Helium Bombs that can be sent up any shaft to blow up all 
  38. the shapes, and SoundBlaster compatible sound support including background
  39. music and sound effects.

  41. TO INSTALL FLOATRIS
  42.  
  43. Simply copy the Floatris.zip file to a directory of your choice
  44. on the hard drive of your computer and unzip it! The Floatris.zip file,
  45. or the file that contains this document should include the following files:

  47. Floatris.exe
  48. Floatris.res
  49. Floatris.doc
  50. Orderme.pls
  51.  
  52. After unzipping the files listed, you may delete the zip file
  53. from your hard drive to conserve space.

  55. TO RUN FLOATRIS:

  57. Type "Floatris" at the command line prompt of the directory you have installed
  58. the files to and hit the enter key.
